Share. Connect. Follow.

Diversity is an important aspect of the UW-Whitewater campus community. What does diversity mean to you?  Help others learn from your experiences.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is in the process of some minor updates to keep up with social media advances. The Assistant to the Chancellor for Affirmative Action and Diversity and the Director of Career and Leadership Development have called for additional resources to be available for faculty and students.

A Twitter page was created to send out updates about upcoming diversity events on campus. Follow us! For next semester, a Facebook page will be created as a forum for students and faculty to connect and share their experiences. This blog page was created for students and faculty to share their experiences with others.

As a long-term goal, we would like professors to integrate events posted on the Diversity calendar into their syllabi. Increasing diversity awareness and unity on campus is a major focus. By attending these educational events, both students and faculty will have the opportunity to learn through others’ demonstrations and experiences.
